This quality natural sponge from the Mediterranean was "harvested" by hand. Rinse with clean water after each use, gently squeeze dry, and hang up to air dry. Avoid wringing it out to preserve quality. Heavily soiled natural sponges can also be washed in the machine up to a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius or disinfected with 70% medicinal alcohol (Isopropanol) – of course, natural sponges are not machine-washable in hot water.
Natural Sea Sponges inhibit the growth of bacteria, are reusable, environmentally safe, economical, a renewable resource, and a 100% biodegradable product.
This is a durable and re-usable product. Handle with enough care and it will last you a long time. Which is, of course, great for the environment.
